I specifically remember this night as one of my favorites on tour. Just leaving Washington, DC after a free day, I realized how much I loved all of these people and how much each and every one of them meant to me. I wish time could've stopped there.
The day this picture was taken was a rough one for me. After a talk with a good friend of mine, I had a fairly productive ensemble block. Allentown, Pa, with 8 days left in the season.
Another day, another sunset picture at a housing site. Rain was rolling in soon, which gave the Front Ensemble plenty of time to do some maintenance on equipment.

My dear friend Shiloh and I at the age out ceremony. We met at Guardians together during our rookie year, ended up going to college together, and now we've aged out together! They marched Troopers, but it was still so great to see them on the road this season!

The Pacific Crest age out class of 2019 woke up early this morning to make breakfast for the corps on our last day together, a tradition that began years ago.
