I've been involved in the fine arts since elementary school. I fell in love with music at a very early age, and discovered my love for theatre when I was in the sixth grade. All throughout high school, I participated in theatre and band, and my life revolved around those two activities well into my collegiate career.
I specialize in AV and media in the technical theatre and performing arts industry, where I also have a background in stage management and administration. In my spare time, I assist smaller Texas high schools as a stand-in Technical Director and designer, helping them develop the technical aspects of their shows to prepare for UIL contest. I am UIL TTABO certified as a One Act Play Contest Manager.
With an extensive musical background and as an alum of Drum Corps International, I am still involved in the activity as an administrator, volunteer, and lifelong fan, in balance with my career. Outside of my professional life, I spend my days off working on personal projects; art pieces, short films, kitty photo shoots, and the occasional Lego build, while I dabble in event and performance photography and videography.
DFW based, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Stage Management from the University of North Texas in 2022. Since then, I've been very active in expanding my skill set in the world of AV and other theatre technology. I am currently immersing myself in learning the new standard of AV, to better my career and future opportunities.
During my collegiate career, I took a year off to pursue my love for the One Act Play circuit, and filled in as the Interim Theatre Director at my high school. I directed the department's 2019 High School One Play, Silent Sky, which advanced all the way to be the alternate play to the Region level of contest.
After a successful, award winning OAP season, I participated in my age-out season of drum corps with Pacific Crest, from City of Industry, CA. This summer was a new learning opportunity for me, as I maintained and operated equipment that I had never encountered before. This experience brought me so many lifelong friends and meaningful connections, while also helping me expand my skills with new technology.
After I aged-out from the activity, I continued to be involved with the circuit, in various administration and volunteer roles. I spent multiple seasons on the admin staff with the Crossmen from San Antonio, TX. I've had a few summers off since then, and am happily attending shows as a fan and alum of the activity. I look forward to getting back to my summers on the road and cheering on my corps from the sidelines.
I'm ecstatic to share that I'll be joining Pacific Crest on the road again for the 2025 Drum Corps International season, as a Volunteer Videographer on the Media Team!
